Åland Distillery is the only distillery on the Åland Islands.
Michael Björklund had for many years considered starting a distillery in the scenic area around the Kastelholm Castle on the Åland Islands. In 2019 he and Jenny Björklund took action and started Åland Distillery in collaboration with a handful of different actors. Today they own Åland Distillery together with Tony Asumaa and Ola Brandborn.
Åland Distillery is located in the middle of the historic scenery of Northern Åland Islands, with the Kastelholm Castle as a neighbour. The distillery and the products that are produced has a very innovative and modern approach, but with a hint of tradition in them.
Open everyday from 2nd May to 30th September.
